We plant stachis
Stachis is a rare vegetable crop. They go to food. When boiled, they are reminiscent of asparagus, cauliflower, and young corn. Stakhis is eaten with boiled and fried meat, as well as pickled and salted. Use as a side dish for meat and vegetable stew. Children enjoy stachis raw with pleasure.

It does not contain starch, it is very important for patients with diabetes. In addition, stachis tubers have an insulin-like effect. He is also treated for diseases of the respiratory tract, various types of gastrointestinal diseases, and he also normalizes blood pressure. Stachis is an annual plant, but sprouts annually from nodules remaining in the ground, which means this culture is cold-resistant.

Nodules are planted in autumn or spring, immediately after the disappearance of snow. The depth of cultivation in the soil is 8 - 11 cm, the distance between nodules is 25 - 30 cm, between rows - 40 cm. Yields are good, nodules are dug up in the second decade of October. Stachis can be planted in partial shade, but not under the bushes, because it, like a weed, penetrates the soil rather deeply with its roots, so it will be difficult to process the trunks. After collecting this vegetable in the autumn, the plot is dug up to a depth of 22 - 27 cm, scattered ash, sand, peat, rotted manure and all this is planted in the soil. In summer, stachis is watered 3-4 times, he picks weeds himself, but weeds are needed, pests "do not like him."
