Mashed potatoes with pumpkin and onions are suitable for garnish with any meatballs, chop, fried or boiled fish. With the help of simple additives, you can quickly turn a boring potato into a delicious and beautiful side dish! It is better to grate nutmeg, ground - not at all. - 400 g of potatoes;

We discard boiled vegetables on a sieve. It is necessary that water is completely glass, otherwise the mashed potatoes will turn out to be liquidish.
We return the vegetables to the pan, add the fried onions along with the oil in which it was cooked.
Knead vegetables with a crush. I do not advise using a blender to prepare mashed potatoes, in which most of the potatoes are. A blender turns boiled potatoes into a paste, and if it is not noticeable, and sometimes appropriate, in a mashed soup, then a mashed potato that looks like a paste is at least tasteless. For mashed potatoes there are special presses, various pushers, in a pinch there is always a fork or a metal sieve.
Pour the cream into a stewpan, pour salt to taste, add the remaining butter and ground turmeric. We put the stewpan on the stove, heat the contents to a boil.
Pour boiling cream into a pan with vegetables. By the way, the cream in the recipe for mashed potatoes with pumpkin and onions can be replaced with baked milk, its taste is very good for this dish.
Rub the nutmeg on a fine grater, you need just a little bit, how to pepper. Then mix thoroughly the mashed potatoes, you can whip with a mixer to get fluffy.
